George Chiampas is the Chief Medical Officer at United States Soccer. His is based in Chicago and is Board-Certified in both Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine. He is an Associate Professor at Northwestern University and a member of the FIFA Medical Committee. In this 11in11 talk George talks about the development of the “Recognize to Recover” programme. This initiative was designed to improve the safety of football in the United States and to improve the experience for players, coaches and other stakeholders within the game.
