General information:

James is a Sport and Exercise Physician. He has extensive sports medicine experience having worked in a number of leading practices in Australasia. He has previously worked as the team doctor for the New Zealand men’s football team. He also has an interest in rugby medicine and for the last two seasons worked full time as team doctor for the Waikato Chiefs Super Rugby franchise, enjoying back to back titles. He is now the doctor for the New Zealand sevens rugby program through to the Rio Olympics in 2016. James is a sports medicine reviewer for the British Medical Journal and is co-author of the sports medicine research review, which regularly updates New Zealand subscribers on sports medicine research. .
