Phatho is a Sports and Exercise Medicine Physician passionate about using sport as tool for social development and transformation. She works as a clinician and lecturer at the University of Pretoria’s Section Sports Medicine. Phatho is President for the South African Sports Medicine Association, Chairperson for the Performance Science commission for the South African Olympic Committee, and serves on the South African Institute for Drug Free Sports (SAIDS) Appeal Board. Phatho is a dynamic leader with a number of interest areas. She regularly presents to varying audiences on topics related to Injuries/Rehabilitation, Medical Operations at multicode Games, Health Economics and Mentorship/Leadership.
